In recent years, a search for manuscripts of the Westminster Assembly has turned up hundreds of important texts of the Westminster Assembly and its members. The WESTMINSTER ASSEMBLY TRANSCRIPTION PROJECT intends to locate and transcribe all of these manuscripts and publish some of the most important works.

The manuscripts include correspondence, petitions, personal library lists, books which were prepared for a printer but never published, and rough and unfinished drafts of works which were later published.

It is hoped that the transcription and publication of these manuscripts will encourage a new appreciation for and research of the Assembly and the theologians who attended it.
